My work made it BIG today! This time on Pontypridd Observer and also Port Talbot Guardian. I had to drive all the way to Port Talbot just to get a copy of the Guardian but it’s all worth it after seeing my work printed almost double spread on the Guardian and almost full page on the Observer. I had to stitch one of them in photoshop since it was too big for my A4 size scanner.

I’ve made it on the Observer again! This time its my shot of Ponty Town AFC v Caerau Ely AFC game last weekend.

I went to cover another Ponty Town home game today. I’ve yet to see them win ever since I started shooting for them. They can only manage a draw or worse. Today’s game against bottom of the league team Caerau (Ely) should have been a walk in the park for the boys and yet they still loose 2-5 with 3-0 down in the first half. They’ve managed quite a number of decent chances in front of Caerau’s goal but are just lacking that golden touch. Today’s game pulled them down to the relegation zone. With less than 10 games remaining, they have to start bagging some points. Here are some of my faves of the day..

My first newspaper publication! The Pontypridd Observer Thursday, March 19, 2009 (out on wednesday). My work on Pontypridd Town AFC junior team (U-10) boys and girls mini football at Pontypridd Park last Sunday made it in the sports section. It was only a small mention and somehow the designer had ignored me a by-line, but hey..who cares! I know its mine. Seeing my work on the paper this morning really made my day…one that I will remember for the rest of my life. Since the image is already published on the paper, I can now post the original work here (without the by-line some of you might think I’m joking right?? hehe) and here it is with all glory!
