Ponty Town v Llanwern

March 12th, 2009 [ Sports ]

It was another one of those unlucky day for Ponty. It looks very promising and they were leading 2-1 up at half time. Everything seems to go their way with some brilliant attacking and defending. But luck was just not on their side again when Llanwern equalized in the second half. Considering their difference in the table standing, I have to say, the boys have put up quite a fight. Better luck next time Ponty! Here’s a few of my faves:

Smile…you’re on Google!

March 11th, 2009 [ Personal ]

I was playing around with GOOGLE MAP today and I found my house in Terengganu, Malaysia. Looking at the image I guess it’s quite outdated but I do feel like I’m there. Next time whenever I feel home sick I’ll just google my way there! I guess it’s a good place to start looking around before going on a trip or holiday since you can get a satellite view of that foreign place you’re about to visit. Oh, by the way..I got a busy week ahead. A wedding and a couple football matches to go to. So expect a lot of updates soon.

ps: Just for the record - the distance from my place here and my house in Malaysia point-to-point is:

10,679.77 km OR 6636.10 miles OR 5,766.61 nautical miles

Pontypridd Town FC v Garw FC

March 4th, 2009 [ Sports ]

Although I must admit that sports and weddings will never go well together, as a photographer the way I see and think are almost the same in both events - FAST! understanding the game will certainly help you a lot in capturing that priceless moment or action. Knowing the players and predicting where the ball will hit or fall helps a lot too. But like ZAINAL use to say, the action will come in due time. So its shoot, shoot and shoot more for me. These are some of my faves from last weeks game. It was a cloudy day and I had too shoot at ISO 1600.

not a lot of action but I just love the expression on the their faces.

Glory! jubilation! I’m the man!.. you can almost feel his excitement.

Not so much of an action shot but I like the way how almost everything froze in the air.

the floating shot

Ponty down to 10 man -Daniel Thomas red carded

Look at that face!

One tight crop to give more impact
